Mayhem

Clutch wasn't responding when I was calling him so he's not here.
With more than 30 Empyreans online, the much anticipated Wednesday woe began. Things didn't turn out the way we wanted it though. Everything was disorganized and seemed like a total mess.

We started the woe by trying to defend our castle from last Monday's woe which was Neuschwanstein. We were able to pull it out well for the first 10 to 20 minutes but the numerous waves of invaders pierced through our defenses causing us to lose possession of the stronghold.

The following events were chaotic and somehow catastrophic. No one was listening. Orders were neglected. Some had technical problems. Most went on their own separate ways. Clutch had some in real life ninja-ninja stuff to do for him to be able to go online. Pally Chimorin, my personal devotionist, wasn't on too so I had difficulties in ecalling.

When both Clutch and Chimorin were able to get in the game, there was a sigh of relief. But the situation didn't alleviate. I made a number of ecalls which failed. In some of my ecalls, no one broke the emperium letting another guild snatch the castle. There were ecalls where we were too late to reach the emperium and another guild took possession.

In the last 5 minutes, I decided to go after Fadhgridh. Pally Chimorin and I stormed in the castle. Exile was defending and I accidentally went too far from the range of devotion and eventually died. I went back for another try, trying to gamble with fate. One minute was left. I rushed to the emperium room. Thirty five seconds left. Pally Chimorin was still in the emp room and we met half way as I arrived. Thirty seconds remaining. I casted ecall by the stairs. 29...28...27. The heat of battle continued to rise as each second passed. 26...25... Emergency Call !! A swarm of Empyreans spawned and mobbed the emperium. Fifteen seconds left. A yellow broadcast appeared stating that Fadhgridh was taken by Empyreal.

Vhon, a new recruit, was proclaimed as the wowowoer for his splendid performance as a breaker when the guild was pursuing Skoegul.

Even though the woe was quite messy, the last 5 minutes was heart stopping.

Lesson learned. Organization, teamwork, and compliance to orders are vital.

Much in the Clutch

War was on again as the Empyreans set off. This woe was rather different though as for the first hour or so, GM Kagami Kyouji and Sub GM Chocolove had been incapacitated in real life. The only core members present at the time were Clutch and Jovs were present. Without ecall or box of thunders, the Empyreans fought through the odds and conquered Fadhgridh as their first castle. Even with the lack of resources, Empyreal was able to defend well against Kings, BP and Death Spade. After a complete storm by Kings though, Empyreal switched over to Swan which they defended for over half an hour until the arrival of their leader. Now the show was on. Resupplied and re-energized, the Empyreans stormed Prontera castles unceasingly. Blablabla deffed Kriem, BP ecalled, etc etc. Then, when things seemed bleak, our faithful leader set up a huge play at Neuschwanstein with an epic ecall. All that was left was the emperium to break and thus woe ended with Silent Shooter gaining wowowoer honors with his unceasing desperado.

Against the Odds

April 23 - It was again time for the valiant warriors of Empyreal to step into battlefield. Twenty five Empyreans set off to the much awaited War of Emperium.

In the first  45 minutes of the woe, the guild went castle hopping as we were being chased again by Kings and Fishpond. It was the typical woe scenario where we break, defend, the castle gets broken, and look for another castle.

Then came the action. As we somehow failed to establish a permanent occupancy in one of the Prontera castles, I decided to settle at Rothenburg. The Death Spade guild was holding the castle. I then charged in the castle. As some members and I arrived in the emperium room, we were surprised by the numerous army of the opposing team. I rushed straight to the emperium with Pally Chimorin, my personal devotionist, backing me up. Pious to his obligations as a paladin, he put himself to the line, holding his ground despite all the bashes, arrows, spells and wounds he received, as I casted ecall. Those mortal wounds didn't matter. They were for glory. Amidst the great havoc that surrounded us, I was finally able to complete casting the ecall, thus summoning the Empyreans by my side, gallant, fearless, ready to face the adversity before us. In the midst of the bloodshed, the Empyreans managed to drive off the opposition and take hold of the castle.

The incident somehow provoked Death Spade and they sought revenge. They went full force on us, making us fall back to the emperium. Their first wave failed to break the emperium but much to our surprise, a second wave was fast approaching. It was then that the emperium was shattered. We managed to regain possession of it again though.

There were other guilds who were after us. There was the Anbu Squad guild which was our ally the day before. I have no idea why they ended the diplomatic relationship but it doesn't really matter. The new recruits of Empyreal who left the guild were in Anbu. They were ill-mannered anyway so I didn't care much. They failed in their plot to invade the castle though.

Exceed The Limit, Fishpond and some Blueprint members were there too.

And then, there was Kings. It was a great fight against them. I had the chance to talk my friend from Kings and they said it was just a friendly match.

The intense race continued for about 40 minutes. The highlight was when the 4 guilds, namely Death Spade, Kings, Fishpond and Exceed The Limit and Fishpond, simultaneously attempted to take the castle from us. In the end we managed to drive them off and retain possession of the castle. It was a really really fun match.

In the last 30 minutes of woe, we took a 10 minute break. After the break, we aimed for Skoegul. We took possession of it in the last 7 minutes but unfortunately it was taken by Dream Team. While the others were defending Skoegul, Pally Chimorin and I attempted to storm Fadhgridh. Too bad, he was mobbed and eventually died and I wasn't able to properly cast ecall. In the end, Lord Coures managed to get Nuenburg so we ended up with one castle.

The wowowoer was ProtectYouEmp because of his great performance during the 30 minute series of hot roller coaster events at Rothenburg.

All in all, that was one awesomesauce woe. We had a great duel with Kings. I would not comment about the insolent behavior of some Death Spade and Anbu Squad members. It was really fun and I hope we will have more of this kind of woe in the future.

ChocoLove Sponsors an Event!

Due to the excessive wealth of the almighty guild muse, ChocoLove(kidding), an event took place yesterday, April 21, 2011, wherein all guild members had the opprtuninty to participate. Kagami Kyouji supervised the event but it was sponsored by the muse herself. The goal was simple, the first one to kill Chocolove and claim three pieces of HER skull would be the victor. The catch was that its going to be a rumble among 8 guys including facilitators (me,jovs and ChocoLove). The moment the fight started, it was a complete chaos around the battlefield, asura strikes, arrows and dead bodies everywhere. Amidst the fighting, ChocoLove was pretty much ignored due to random duels and "gang banging". Then a few minutes later people started to remember the objective which was to kill ChocoLove. Most lacked the means to put ChocoLove out of her misery due to her nigh impenetrable defenses , seductive dances and songs. But in the end of the first round I noticed that people stopped fighting and she lay dead on the floor with Mr.DreamRain claiming her skull. The next round was pretty quick and straightforward, with Mazkara punching an insanely powerful Asura Strike through ChocoLove's defenses. There was then a quick scramble to get ChocoLove's skull from her corpse which suprisngly ended once again in Mr.DreamRain's hands. In the final round, the facilitators took it a step higher in protecting the queen to make things more interesting. We fought side by side, shoulder to shoulder, protecting ChocoLove as best as we can. Although we fought and danced hard(ChocoLove) she was eventually mobbed and in another scramble to claim her skull, Mr.DreamRain emerged victorious amongst overwhelming odds and fierce of competition. He received 2b as a reward.

1st Two Weeks of Woe with Recruits

After a period of hiatus and several months of brainstorming and discussing about the recruitment, the day we had been longing for, the day of woeing with young Empyreans, arrived. Last April 9, 2011, Empyreal woed together with the new recruits. It was one action packed woe. Although I forgot if we had a castle or not, it was fun fighting alongside our fellow Empyreans.

The first ever wowowoer of the guild was Makpulps. He displayed great dedication in SGing throughout the siege.

April 11 - As expected on a Monday woe, we were a bit off in numbers. Despite that, we still managed to work it out. In the end, we decided to get scarlet because we somehow lacked man power.

The core chose Top Rank as the wowowoer of the siege. With his lethal daggers, he discreetly slew the incoming foes.

April 13 - The guild is now growing in numbers. We got new and fresh faces. The guild is now faced with new challenges. In totality, it was an action packed woe. I can't remember what castle we had at the end of the woe though. xD

d[xD]b otherwise known as Gabo was declared as the wowowoer for April 13's woe. His perseverance to do the task assigned to him led the core to chose him as the MVP.

April 16 - Since I was not available, Jovs acted as GM in my stead. I can't say much about this woe since I wasn't there. In the end, they got eeyolbriggar.

April 18 - Now we're talking. On the first hour of the woe, we defended prontera castles. The guild's name is now spreading throughout Rune-Midgard. We faced big guilds like Kings, Cognoscenti and Legends. We managed to hold them off for a while but we eventually lost. Even though our fate against the big guilds was predetermined I'm proud to say we weren't defeated easily. I suppose they were friendly matches though. We had Fadhgridh in the last 5-8 minutes of woe. During the last minute, I miscalculated my last ecall in Neuschwanstein and we ended up having one castle which is Neus instead of having both Fad and Neus.

There was no wowowoer since he went off. I forgot who it was. xD

April 20 - For the first time, 30+ members were online. It's nice to see new people around. In the duration of the woe, the big guilds were somehow chasing us though I do not really know if they were really chasing us or if they did that intentionally. But we did somehow manage to give a good fight.
During the last 2 or 3 minutes, we defended Fadhgridh but some guys from BP or was it Kings went after us. We tried to go after it in the last min but sad to say that we didn't have much time to break it.
The guild is still young and we have much to learn as a guild. By time, we'll surely become better and better.

We chose Silent Shooter as the wowowoer since he had this passion of "desperadoing" in the course of the woe.

Enjoy every woe!

Empyreal

History

The guild started out on Dec 8, 2010. It was formerly known as Shadows Of Illumination which disbanded for some reasons. Some members of SoI made a new guild named Litany of Luminance, others wandered off aimlessly. After some time, the SoI members decided to rebuild the guild again which is now the present Empyreal.

Currently, the guild is primarily composed of a group of irl friends who wants to have fun.

Description

Most of you might think that guild name's spelling is wrong or "dude, shouldn't the spelling be Imperial?" but if you ask Mr. Google, you would see that the name actually exists(woah!). Empyreal means the highest reaches of heaven, believed by the ancients to be a realm of pure fire or light; relating to the sky or heavens; celestial; supreme.

Aims

The guild aims to meet new people and friends, and have fun. Through the guild, we do not only bind ourselves to the game but we actually open ourselves to new horizons, to other fields of interests.

Empyreal 2012

What has become of Empyreal as of 2012? Since the declaration of the guild's inactivity last August 2011, we went on our separate ways. As a way to reminisce the fun and adrenaline, I compiled some of the most memorable woes and experience of Empyreal and called it Empyreal 2012. Enjoy the video.

Cornerstone

Toxa Classico/Kagami Kyouji - Guild Master

I, Kagami Kyouji, started on 2006. Back then, I was known as Killua. I then changed my in-game name to Toxa Classico. The latter name became known during my stay at the Thanatos Tower. I then ventured to the Somatology Laboratory to try my luck. Things turned out well and up to now, I continue to hunt down the laboratory's bosses. At present, I am known as Kagami Kyouji, the group's guild master.

Character Specializations: I was known in the field of assassins. I retired from the job and currently play as a stalker.

   ChocoLove/Bagz - SubGM

ChocoLove, the guild's muse(do forgive me for this Bagz :D ), started to wander the vast world of Rune-Midgard around 2007. ChocoLove was formerly known as bagz345 or BagzYo. Since he didn't find satisfaction in his former ign and believed that the name wasn't on the same level with his/her beauty, he came up with ChocoLove. He also climbed the Thanatos Tower together with me. ChocoLove is currently a resident of the Somatology Laboratory. ChocoLove entertains the guild through seductive dances and sexy moves.

Character Specializations: ChocoLove started out as a lord knight but ChocoLove realized her true beauty and turned out to be a gypsy.

(P.S. The repetition of the name ChocoLove is intentional for certain reasons. Hahaha. Peace Bagz. xD )

   ObiClutch Kenobi - SubGM

As the guild's breaker, ObiClutch Kenobi shatters the emperium in a flash. His ninja-ninja skills and swabe moves allows him to discreetly reach the emperium and whack it.
On 2008, he began to explore the world of darkRO, completely clueless about what awaits him. After some time, he was able to make a name for himself.
His wit and competence has helped in the guild's development.
He prefers to be called "Clutch".

Character Specializations: At first, he was a gunner but he then decided to try out the field of assassination where he soon specialized and was known.

   RayGun.v.2 - Core Member

RayGun.v.2 is also known as Mr. Papable. Alongside ChocoLove, he keeps the spirit of the guild up. His cheesy lines and papalicious moves are really something. He has been playing since 2008.
His friendly aura aids the guild in establishing diplomatic relationships. His cheerful attitude would surely keep you up.

Character Specializations: He has tried playing as a paladin and a stalker but he has greatly improved his knowledge with professors.

   Kyras Azariah - Core Member

Kyras' words of wisdom, taken from distant lands to unknown to man, has inspired men and women to continue to strive despite the adversities they face.

He was formerly known as the self proclaimed the great "Tezeentch". He has been around since 2007. Being an environmentalist, he is fond of nature and pets, especially those cute little baphomet juniors. He has(maybe had) been a hater of priests(in game character of course). Currently, he is on a quest in becoming the ultimate warrior(not literally in game).

Character Specializations: As a man of witchcraft and wizardry who became a devout monk, he continues his journey in internalization and introspection. He plays as a lord knight too from time to time.

That's a glimpse of us. We hope to know you(members) too.
